This is Halleck, this week's featured 'Pet of the Week'! Halleck was taken in to the Central Dakota Humane Society as a stray, was "extremely" skinny, cold & lonely:( The CDHS fattened Halleck up and gave him a warm, loving place to stay until he found his 'fur-ever' home.
But he's been there FAR too long...Halleck has been waiting for a family to call his own for over a year:( He is about 3 years old, a German Shepherd mix, up-to-date on shots, is neutered, a super sweet boy & just needs a chance to show someone how much love he could add to their heart & home.
Please, please please share Halleck's story so we can find him the home that he is so very deserving of.
Pictures below are Wanda, I've featured Wanda on my Pet of the Week feature in the past. This girl has also been with the CDHS for over a year:( Beings Halleck & Wanda are the lifers right now, they have formed an unbreakable bond. So if you would like 2 of the most loving, caring, snuggly pooches ever...think of adopting Halleck & Wanda together. Veterans have proven time & time again that an animal that has a partner...is happier mentally & physically.
