Meet this week’s ‘Pets of the Week’, Mr. Bill and Sluggo! These two beautiful boys were having an altercation underneath someone’s trailer home so, a gentleman had to remove the skirting around the home and crawl underneath to rescue the kitties. He got them both into separate carriers and brought them to CDHS. Mr. Bill did have some wounds that CDHS treated but he is as good as new now! We don’t want to give the idea that they are mean kitties that fight all the time…It was a bitter cold spell and we do believe these two guys were both just looking for a warm spot and trying to protect that space. It’s extremely sad that they were on the streets, fending for themselves in the first place so we are SO glad they were rescued & are now at Central Dakota Humane Society in a warm, safe place where they get fed & loved on. Although it’s great that the CDHS rescued them…they both deserve a forever home to call their own. Sluggo (the Siamese kitty) was just recently adopted but Mr. Bill (beautiful orange & white kitty) is in search of his own home now. He’s neutered, up-to-date on his shots, extremely sweet and have spent lots of time around humans.

"I was found fighting for my life out on the street. Even though I seemed like a tough guy this is not my preferred way of life. The CDHS humans say I must certainly have once been a loved house-cat but was forced to fight to survive. No one should have to live like that. I would love to find a home with cushions and beds I could relax on, toys and treats, and pettings whenever I ask."
Mr. Bill's adoption fee is $80 plus tax. The adoption fee includes:
- Veterinary Exam
- Vaccinations (Distemper and Rabies)
- Flea/Tick Treatment
- Ear Mite Treatment (if needed)
- Nail Trim
- Bag of Science Diet Food
- Adoption Goodie Bag
