Miranda Lambert donates to Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue!

I've been working with the folks from Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue for the past few years, whether it be their fundraisers, trying to help find homes for the puppies & kitties with my 'Pet of the Week' on KQ & various other community events. One thing I can say about FFRR is that all of the volunteers are extremely hard working, dedicated, loving, passionate individuals. So...I was just a "bit" over the moon when I recently saw that Miranda Lambert's Mutt Nation, chose them as one of 50 rescues across the country to receive a $5000 grant!!

Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company team up each year to provide a quarter-million dollars in grants through MuttNation’s Mutts Across America program. A $5,000 donation is made to one shelter or foster-based rescue in each state across the country. Organizations are carefully researched and vetted before honoring one outstanding nonprofit in each state. Shelters are surprised with the grant, and there is no application process. Since the initiative’s inception, MuttNation’s Mutts Across America has supported more than 350 shelters with over $1.25 million in grants!!
