If you were lucky enough to grow up in a time where you could watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel or Charmed...then you may be one of the people that is upset with the news of the new 'Charmed' reboot! A first look of the new series was just released yesterday, which you can see below, and has some of the former cast members and fans just a tad ticked off!
The original series ran from 1998 to 2006, was produced by Aaron Spelling and starred Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs. It's not the quality of the actors or whether the rebooted series looks good or not...the problem, as Holly Marie Combs tweeted about, is that none of the original writers, producers or actors were asked to be a part of the process in the new Charmed reboot and people are extremely upset over it! As Holly says, "Don't even think of capitalizing on our hard work"!
I loved the show back in the day, I love the reruns and looking at the trailer for the new "Charmed" reboot, which is coming to the CW Sunday nights this fall, I'm actually kind of excited to see what this new spin on the original story, has to offer!
