Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are splitting up after 14 years of marriage.

The former longtime couple made the announcement in matching statements shared to their Instagram Stories on Friday (April 5), revealing that they actually filed for divorce last year.

"After a long tennis match over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down," the statement reads. "In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage."

The Borat star and Now You See Me actress, who said they will "forever share" in the love they have for their three children, asked for privacy as they continue to navigate this new development, especially when it comes to their family.

"We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change," they said. "We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family's wish for privacy."

Baron Cohen and Fisher met at a party in 2001 and seemingly hit it off, per People, with Baron Cohen saying in a 2020 New York Times interview that he "knew instantly." The pair got engaged in 2004 and went on to tie the knot March, 15, 2010.

News of the former couple's divorce comes more than a week after the Dictator actor was accused by Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson of being an "a-hole" and attempting to "threaten" her ahead of the release of her new memoir Rebel Rising.
