Bismarck's Fall Clean-Up Week Coming Sept. 21-24, 2020

Bismarck’s Fall Clean-Up week is set for later this month, September 21-24, 2020.

Items that are not normally collected on the route and that 2 men can lift will be picked up during this clean-up.

Unless otherwise specified, crews will be picking up items on the regular scheduled garbage day, at the regular collection location.

Things to keep in mind:

Bismarck residents who display their recent 2020 city water bill will have free disposal during the week of September 21-26, 2020 at the Bismarck Municipal Landfill during regular business hours.

Wood items and tree branches must be cut in 4-foot lengths and tied in bundles. 

No hazardous waste or liquids accepted on the route. Take items to the Household Hazardous Waste Center during hours of operation.

Residents will need to place items out for collection by 6:00 a.m. on the regular scheduled garbage day.

Residential Alley Pickup: Residents are being asked to place items for special pick-up in the alley or on the boulevard.

Apartment Complexes: Residents need to place items for special pickup on the boulevard for collection by 6:00 a.m. on the regular scheduled garbage day.

City crews will pick up: Furniture items and tires.

City Crews will not pick up: Appliances. Items may be taken to the landfill. Landfill charges will apply.
